Where to start?

Know your purchase power. If you’re obtaining financing, the first step is to reach out to lenders to get the ball rolling with pre-approval. I recommend getting reaching out to multiple lenders or getting double approved to secure the best possible rate and terms for your specific situation. Most lenders will provide pre-approval at no cost or obligation, and I have great vendors that I’m happy to recommend.

Identify your key considerations. Location, number of bedrooms, neighborhood. Single story? Parking? Layout? Style? Create a short list of top priorities.

Time your search. Are you looking to move in the Spring? Is your move date flexible? Do you need to secure a property immediately, or is this property a 1031 exchange? Property moves fast and knowing your timing will help me tailor a strategy so that everything aligns seamlessly.
